For 2025, she is particularly excited about her collaboration with local photographer and film maker Victor D’Alcantara, whose keen eye for photography and filmmaking will help capture the essence of the event. Together, they plan to document the creative process of the artists involved, offering behind-the-scenes insights and highlighting the unique stories behind each studio.

As part of the project, Noila and Victor will visit some studios, where they will film interviews with the artists, explore their creative spaces, and share their artistic journeys. This initiative aims to create a deeper appreciation for the local art scene and encourage more people to participate in the Mahurangi Artists Trail.

Noila and Victor will also be covering the opening night and the interactive workshops during the event, where visitors can engage directly with the artists, learn about their techniques, and even try their hand at creating their own art. With her enthusiasm and Victor’s expertise, they are set to create a vibrant narrative that not only celebrates the artists but also emphasizes the importance of community and collaboration in the creative process. The Mahurangi Artists Trail promises to be an enriching experience for everyone involved.

The video footage, photographs and additional content will allow the event organisers to have a library of material that can be posted over time to maintain engagement and promote future events.
